This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Previously this DevArt account was supposed to be reserved for my pen sketches drawn in class, but since there are only two months left of my degree program (and Ive recently started using a sketchbook again) I figured I would just turn this into a general account.
Even with this shift of purpose for this account, I would like to remind anyone who leaves a message here that it is very unlikely that I will respond to comments (generally I still read them, so post them if you would like to, but please do not expect a reply). However, if there is something important you would like to ask me, feel free to use the note system instead.
Recap: Generally this account will contain pen sketches from class (computer science courses can be slow sometimes), but dont be surprised if you see the odd sketchbook pencil sketch in here as well. At least as far as the next few months are concerned...
[-- Account Description --]
(Why have this overview/info section?) - Mostly I'm just a bit self conscious about my skills, so I want to make sure people are aware that I'm not an art student or anything when judging my drawings.
(Are reference images used while sketching?) - For the sketches done at home: Sometimes. The more accurate the design is to the character, the more likely a reference was used. - For the sketches done in class: No, so sometimes the designs are way off, but that's one of the things that make them interesting in my opinion.
(Pen, Pencil and Eraser) - For the in-class sketches, generally only pen is used (lined paper too since that's all I have with me). - For sketches done at home, both a pencil and eraser are generally used, but I try to rely on the eraser as little as possible (a good habit, or so I'm told).
(The account name: compscisketcher) - In case you can't see it yourself, it stands for "Computer Science Sketcher". I'm a Comp Sci student (programmer).
(Other accounts) - Yes, I do have another account here on DevArt. It is basically dead however.
